Die Cutting Dies

In order to process your die cutting job smoothly and efficiently, please make note of the following requirements when sending your die file:

• Format the file as an EPS. We can also accept a PDF file that was created using vector lines.
• In addition to the die line itself, please include sheet edges and crop marks.
• Remove any other objects or layers from the file, such as graphics, text, and color bars--even if they are marked invisible. These show up on the CAD system, causing errors on the die.
• Always use a line thickness or stroke weight of .25 pt.
• Make certain all measurements in your files are correct.
• When emailing your file, indicate where the gripper is and what view the file is portraying (i.e. a pocket folder outside or inside view).
